im finishing up my smart gunner kit and im doing the chest armor plate . i got the plans of this forum and printed it out as is and i got the black one as seen below . every one said its two small so i enlarged the plans a little bit . now i have the white one made out of a large plastic handicap sign which im going to bondo the crap out of now and paint . does it look about rite now? please feed back . thanks guys

I like the smaller one personally. Maybe the white 'pops' too much and it will look more 'correct' black, but I believe they look big in the movie because most of the clear shots of it are of Vaz, and she was tiny.

I agree with Bigbisont, but I think either one would be fine. It's the steadycam vest that gives the impression of being heavily armoured.

Can't wait to see the larger one painted black!

It's difficult to judge without seeing it on the harness, but it looks about right. The other one was definitely too small.

The new one looks perfect. but a pic of you with it up to ur chest would be the best. and where did you find the pattern for this if you can post the link that would be greeat.
