just been offered this deactivated remington 870 wingmaster, just wanted to know, is it the right type for my PR build ????

What caliber is that? 12 gague or 20?

It looks pretty accurate but you'll need to remove that metal bit off the top of the receiver. Is that a scope mount or just an iron sight channel?

its a 12 gauge, the rail on top is just held in place with a couple of small bolts so easy to remove, apparently it had a red dot scope on it ?????

12ga. is correct and without the top rail it should work fine. Or not work... as it's demilled. Obviously you'll need to cut everything down, but the black receiver with the silver bolt is what most use.

i went ahead and bought it, it should be delivered tomorrow, according to the dealer i bought it off, it dry fires and has a working action, wouldnt think it will chamber any rounds though ???? im just after a working pump action with that clunk sound and an opening ejection port, nice new blade in my hacksaw all ready
