The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I just received my Aliens Egg Prop from Wizart Studio (http://3dwizartstudio.com/?portfolio=ra ... egg-carpet) after winning the bid on Ebay. The egg looked decent in the auction but I was somewhat blown away once it arrived at home. The paintjob is absolutely amazing and dang accurate. The egg itself is fairly large but because of the silicone build material, it was folded up into a box not much larger than a shoe box when I got it. AMAZING because it makes it very easy to store or move if required. Once unfolded it gives an impressive illusion of thickness and strength. The casting is excellent with tons of detail. It weights about 11 pounds and really looks the business. The service I got from Wizart was really impressive. Just thought I would show you guys. I got it in auction for MUCH LESS than the asking price on the website and I bet if you asked nicely they would give a deal.

**Note the egg they show on the website is a raw cast. They charge 39 bucks to fully paint it as shown in my picture below. Absolutely worth it.**

I won the auction for $300 then added $39 for the paintjob. I'm sure if you asked nicely they would sharpen thier pencils a bit. I don't know if they do an open version but I'm modding the one I got to open. The silicon cuts very easily and is absolutely pliable.

I've been eye-ing up the stuff they make for a few months, glad to see it's decent quality :)

I'd love one of these!

Toss in some servos, and a short-range motion sensor... and you've got one hell of a creepy prop!
