lol thats what im thinking but first i just want a few ideas from the people that have built SG rigs already. before i spend the cash on it but it looks like i may do a run of my ODST helmets to fund this.

That's the newer version of the one I have... Not TOTALLY accurate, and the arm's a little undersized... But it works - And by that I mean it WORKS. It does the job, and supports the gun.
And with the chestplate in place, you won't even really see the inaccuracies.
Definitely "Close enough".

My only word of caution would be to compare the overall length of the arm to that of the original. If it's TOO short, it might restrict the movement of the gun, as well as cause it to rest in an awkward spot (too close to your chest, for example.)
