The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Yikes man, that suck's BIG TIME, you definitively have me beat! There is no excuse to have to wait that long. And I'm sure that coming up with that kind of money again is not easy, being in a recession and all. Sure not a way to run a business. :|

All we can do I guess, is play the waiting game.... Keep on truckin':delta:

I know it's not your headache Matt, but do you have any updates?

Thanks;
Tyler

Although I have only been waiting a month less then you, I feel your pain Xeno. But I also feel for DBoz and stuff. I know I will probably never see my money again, however I will hold out hope that I will see my BDU's in the next few years. And also Matt, I am very grateful for all your inquiries to MAA, and for all the headaches it may give you I am sorry.

I was about to throw in the towel, but last night I was told that a set was shipping out this weekend.

It is for a friend of an ADI friend.

Let's see how that goes, and take it from there.

He seems to be doing better..

That is somewhat hopeful news, though I'm not holding my breath either. Like DBoz, I've got the same amount of cash invested and have been waiting a little longer for my armor set. I haven't abandoned all hope either, but it hasn't been easy waiting and not knowing if or when this matter will ever be settled. I paid up front in good faith and I really can't afford to kiss that money goodbye, so I continue to patiently wait for MAA to make things right again.

I've decided to throw in the towel on this.

I just got de-friended from him on FB, and he doesn't want to deal with business on that site.

I'm out about half a bdu set with the trades that I sent to him, but I don't have time for this anymore.

Moving on.

If someone wants to take up this task, send me a PM, and I'll give you the details.

Sorry guys, I tried.

Thanks for all your efforts in your projects, and in trying to get MAA to fullfill his orders.

Of course, if MAA was still doing his thing, then I wouldn't have spent all this money making camo... because he bailed on the whole thing. I don't blame you quitting on him too.

such a shame after all i have read about this subject, is it too late to now persue legal channels, be friending on fb seems to me thats very much a case of not wanting to clear up exisiting orders and fulfilling his word/promise upon original orders and running away from the subject which is simply now theft :(:( - kudos for nobles efforts though

That wasn't a sales pitch. That was me complaining... I'm more than a little annoyed that MAA had to close up shop. And even his forums too! I came back from active duty, and the site was gone!

I have one set of his camo that's fading really bad and wearing out. I've had to do a whole lotta work and spent thousands of dollars to fill his void, which I would have preferred not to do. I already have two jobs, and run a mail-order suprlus store out of a storage unit. I didn't want to take on any more.

You know I had more than a hunch that he wouldn't be coming back. It seems such a shame that someone who once took the moral high-ground has fallen so low. :(

Unfortunately, there is little that I can do. I have no contact information and even if I did, it is most likely that any contact would probably be ignored. It is long past being able to make any claims through Paypal and legally, there isn't much that can be done either, as I believe he is living out of the country now (China or Taiwan, not sure).

If anybody has any ideas, I'd love to hear them, but otherwise, this is pretty much being chalked up as a loss. Who knows, maybe someday my armor will show up on my doorstep, but I doubt it.

Unfortunately I am in the same boat as Dboz with my BDU's. I have no contact info for MAA, and even if I did it probably would be ignored. I am just glad I bought the ones of Doc Vito's Nick a Tron was selling this time last year. So at least I have a pair of BDU's, and do not have to fork over the money for Aaron's or Spats. This is especially nice since I am broke right now. Do not get me wrong though I am still plenty PISSED OFF. Either way if anyone has any luck getting anything owed from MAA in the future please let the others know waiting for stuff. I am however grateful to Noble for all his hard work and his attempts to keep contacting him to get our orders.

Well according to him, he has a bunch of boxes in his dining room full of stuff.

Unfortunately I didn't have time to visit him in Taipei on my trip to China last week.

The best we can do at this point would be:

Someone start a thread "what does MAA owe you"

Gather all the people's mailing address, order details, email address.

If someone is willing to do that thread, and gather all the information, I'm willing to email that to him.

I know all the stuff that he is dealing with, so it won't be productive if I post his information.

I Think there is none, but this is mainly my fault. I have been very busy with my new work and school schedule, I have not gotten the list off to Noble.

Edit: List completed here is who I have orders info from for Noble

1-Dboz
2-Mudshark
3-Jonesy the Cat
4-Revolver Ocelot
5-911 Dropship
6-Tarim-Rex
7-Tacblue
8-Xeno Stomper
9-Fantomaz
10-Jhin-Roh
11-Chevyh0tr0d

If anyone else is "Owed" something please feel free to PM me I will gladly get with you to complete any info I can to pass along to Noble. I guess as we need to we can update this list with anyone else who provides me/Noble info for things Owed.

Mixed feelings. MAA was very cool with me when I could not pay for what I ordered. I put a deposit down, he made my uniform, I could not pay the balance. When I could pay, he made me a brand new set. I am sorry other people got hurt.
