Read the entertainment article . Ridley very tight lipped but said youll recognize some of th creatures, and said the last 12 minutes of the film will connect the movies . The article definitely connects it to the alien franchise . Using a time Line to show how it fits in to the aliens story . I believe we're gaining to see the xenos in different form . I just don't hope it throws off the Jim Cameron's life cycle . I'm really stoked how close it is till release !

I'm afraid Cameron is out of it, or to be clear - his vision was not in it from the beginning. Also I'm afraid that they have modified the original background story of Alien and the visual concept to a degree that it more drifts to a re-boot of the the Alien universe than being a close prequel. I addressed my concerns to a friend who bluntly put it to my face. - Well if you don't like it, you could f*k it off as you did with A3 and A4. And that really produced some mixed feelings for me.

Besides I recently got some rumor of the film that it is pushing the limit pointing towards that the Jockeys are the "Creators" of mankind... which to me is a very unnecessary step if its true. I mean that is so boring.

I get the feeling that the Alien Universe is about to get a lot bigger. Although I am certain that we will see a form of the Alien we all know I do feel that the ALIEN is just a small part of an even greater whole. Its this new 'greater part' I'm interested in, the Alien has had its run. Time for something else to have a go.
