The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

What exactly is that being held over the person on the bed, part hidden by the frame?

Looks like a chestburster that might have been removed early.

My money's on it being some form of facehugger variant.

There seem to be a few concepts in this film that were in the Giger's Alien book, and unused for that film.

Why do I get the feeling that Michael Fassbender finds something that genetically mutates him into the space jockey?

after wacthing the trailer several times last night as well as the europe version . i nocticed one female charcther laying on the bed kicking when paused you could see a fleashy colored creature above her face . i could only see what looked like a side fin of a face hugger . who knows my best guess . second was two more quick shots that it seems . no matter how quick you try to pause it you cant get it to pause . one is it looks like a persons arm skin getting pulled back revealing an alien exo skelton arm . also at the end of the trailer you see one of the female actors on the ground with an alien like legs standing over her . who knows . the voices of get it off , get it of its in my throat !!' are pretty creepy . can't wait for this movie . i just hope it dosen't destroy any major things in the alien universe that we all hold dear . overall great trailer !

ok cant keep quiet anymore

SPOILER (kinda)

slow the clip down you can clearly see her belly area has been cut and that the lifeform has been lifted by clamps from her body, you can even see the umbilical cord, this ties in to thew clues i mentioned before
