The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Can you tell me what costumes you all have?

I thought you were all marines when I first joined but I see you are not,I'm trying to get a picture of you all in my head and what you all like and do.

Do any of you have any pictures to share?

If you have more than one costume which one do you like the best?

TIA

Helen

Good Lord where do I start?

Well lets start with USCM. :)

Rifleman:

Image

This is my homemade armour in its current state. I do have a helmet I also made myself, but I rarely wear it anymore as it is made with a real steel helmet and gets quite heavy after a while.

Image

Phased-plasma Infantry Gunner:

Image

Dropship Pilot:

Image

My helmet says "Come Fly With Me"

Service C (Gorman's dress uniform):

Image

Remember me in the film? No?

Image

Dress Blues:

Image
Image

Marine Space Aviator:

Image
Image

(And for giggles)

Hypersleep uniform:

Image

Now for my other passion: Star Trek-

These next couple of pics are from over 7 years ago... when I was 25 pounds heavier.

TNG era captain:

Image

(Purchased from a dealer's table at a convention)

Voyager era captain:

Image

(Another ill-fitting dealer's table uniform)

(Now for some recent pics  )

"Future Imperfect" TNG Lt Commander:

Image

A better fitting Rubies deluxe tunic.

First Contact/late DS9 era captain:

Image

A Paramount licensed jacket.

"Amok Time" Kirk:

Image

"Mirror Mirror" Kirk

Image

Made this one myself for Halloween 2010.

Star Trek V Kirk Bomber Jacket:

Image

Only wore it once to a convention.

And my Pride and Joy...

Image

My movie era Monster Maroon captain's uniform. This was originally made for me by a professional costume maker working with a tailor for a perfect fit back in 1995. Since then I promoted myself and made this a screen accurate Admiral Kirk uniform:

Image
Image

Another one I wear often is my "Grayson" Robin:

Image

And here are the rest of the costumes I've done (that I pretty much only wore once, but were fun to do):

1992- The Terminator:

Image

2003- Vietnam era US Army:

Image

2004- Saving Private Ryan US Army Rangers:

Image

2006- "Logan" Wolverine:

Image

Black Hawk Down Delta Team:

Image

2008- Recondo from GI Joe:

Image

Rambo!

Image
Image

2009: Kyle Reese Future Resistance:

Image
Image

Billy from Predator:

Image
Image

WHEW!

Some other costumes I don't have pics of: Braveheart, and a Soviet Paratrooper from "Red Dawn."

Kevin

Oh, dear. Well, let's see...

USCM Sniper

Image
Image

This was my original black & grey pattern, which I've since traded out for accurate BDU's and a much more green look.

Image

Kick-Ass, my most famous costume of all

Image
Image

Vader's Secret Apprentice "Starkiller" (Star Wars: The Force Unleashed)

Image

Not sure if this is considered a costume, since I frequently dress this way in real life, but
The Ska Man (Two-Tone Records Mascot)

Image
Image
Image

Older costumes I no longer have pictures of:

Killey (Suikoden V)
Image

Johnny the Homicidal Maniac (JTHM Graphic Novels)
Image

And dozens of different characters for local stage shows.
