The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Yeh that makes sense. You could actually cut off the tip off the main barrel and replace it with some pipe, might work? I dunno, just an idea :)

Ah cool, a few people have made their own version of the HCG stand. I plan to use that plywood stuff with the holes in and two tool bracket thingies, just gotta fit my shrouds out with a Thompson and spas first! ;)

Its a good idea but i may just keep an eye out for ones i have seen on matsucorp pr. They look metal with a metal cage? Not sure, may be a mod someone else has carried out in a picture i have seen. How easy would it be to get an airsoft one?

You can get a decent looking case for £40 on justbbguns.co.uk, the next size up is only a tenner more I believe. Then of course there's always eBay. :)

Lol dusting this one off. Im looking to cover the ammo counter up, something semi transparent in black or a dark red. I think it would look good. Anyone have any suggestions?

Office Supply Stores have clear red plastic report covers. Those are flat and should work.

Its alright to be honest but in bright light/ daylight it can be drowned out a little. Putting something over may prevent that and give it a nice glow effect.
