So, as you guys know. For sometime i've had Terry English Armour of Hudson and now currently Hicks.
So, thought i would invite you into my HICKS armour overview.
So first picture you can see the overall Body armour, abdominal plates and greaves. I'm going to show you the armour step by step. Inside and out.
NSC & The Beginning. As you can see, the armour was commissioned to the buyers request or measurements. The story behind my armour began during the weekend of the Aliens 25th Anniversary held at the NSC which Terry shown a stall. I always wanted a set and had one before the NSC weekend. I owned a set of HUDSON armour made for Friendlyskies which i sold not too long ago. Anyways, Terry had just arrived and some of the UKCM chaps where helping out Terry set up his stall. As i was standing enjoying a cigarette i noticed that Friendlyskies was pushing a big crate that had a lot of Terry's work in it. And a set of HICKS armour was just on top. So Friendlyskies joked and said "Looks like your Armour is here!" of course i had not even had the money to pay for a set. But hinting i'd been going on about the Hicks armour. So, i had a look at it and thought, "WOW!". So i kept eyeing this piece up all evening and for the weekend. So By the end of the weekend. I spoke to Terry about this armour and he had told me that he wanted to sell it and it was going for a reasonable price. I and many others had shown interest in the set. So, i said to Terry. "Could i try it on?". "By all means, yes you can!" So i had the pleasure of Terry feeling me up and down. "OH RIGHT!". No, Seriously i felt really good. And about the armour. I was made up that this was exactly how he fitted all the marines. So, we get to a point as you can see in the pictures that it fitted like a glove. And Terry told me this story as i exactly remember it.

I made it for a chap in America who wanted a set of HICKS armour. He gave me his measurements and details and i made this armour up for him. After a few months once it was ready i said to this chap it was ready. And unfortunately he backed out at last minute. And since 2009 i've been displaying it with my screen used HUDSON armour. No buyers. So i've been trying to sell it ever since. Many people have shown interest and no-one wanted it. So, instantly thought this is mine and maybe i could make him a deal, To my demise he would not accept nubbly wanks so i had to pay in hard earned cash. It took me over 2 months of selling props and musical equipment. Even having a unsociable life for 2 months. No drinking. Which now leads me to my payment and collection from him at MEMORABILIA 2011.
I'd been speaking to Terry for the past couple of weeks over the phone. First time interrupted his dinner. "Oops!"
NOTE!:- Don't interrupt someone during there tea!

So, we talked and talked for ages about this armour and how made up he was that he found a buyer and that it fitted like a glove for me. So we agreed that i would pay him at the MEMORABILIA 2011 and collect it there. So, got to the show. Collected it and i just fell in love. Peter his friend and Chris Meany where on hand to take photos. Terry got a few photos with me and the armour and which really made me happy and thought how much of a swell and kind man Terry is. Is that he keeps a scrap book of all his commissions even the movie jobs he's done. There were actors from Helen Mirren, Michael Biehn to Sir Patrick Stewart. Praising and thanking him for making them look cool to stunning. So Terry says he makes the scrap book "His Memories to Share". He also adds commissions from those like me who buy from him. And shows them off. These are the pictures below of myself and Terry after the final purchase.
