No worries, Death by Mugamba, I know exactly what you mean. I'm the same way. I'm into costuming but not role play. The sweep is a bit more theatrical than I generally like to be.

A personal message to me? I like it on many levels, it speaks to me.

Great work Russ... I was almost sad when there was nothing else to watch. The colony sweep was awesome.

I noticed that roughly 60% of the photos were mine (how could they not be...? I took over 700 photos that weekend). No props to me? Not even a little credit? You broke my heart!

I'm glad the ending of the colony sweep worked. I was upset Tony didn't get more video of Loki's bug suit, so I had to make due with what I had, which was stills. Did everone notice that the bug lifted his leg on Rex, and Rex started the shooting?

I think it worked out okay though.

Finally got to watch mine Fri night. What a blast. Thanks for doing this, Rook, and such a fine job, too!

(I'd love to be able to watch the parade at its original framerate, though.)

Thanks for the credit at the end of the parade video...however, I was blissfully catching some Z's at the time.

Tony shot the video with Spat's camera in 24P (24 Frames per second) mode. I used a 24p pulldown to get my footage to match.

Sadly, since I was carrying a pulse rifle and shooting video one handed much of the time, the footage gets a bit too shakey. I normally produce better quality than that.

Figured it was something like that. Perhaps 3:2 pulldown of the 24 footage to make it match YOURS would've been cleaner.

I woke up to the tom tompa tompa tom tom tom of the belly dancers and looked out the balcony in time to see you guys scurry by. That is always the degree of participation the parade ever gets out of my sleepy ass.

Last call, does anyone still want a copy? I have I think 2 left.
I'm going to donate one copy to the prize pool for DC2007, so that leaves one preproduced copy left.

Rats! That must be after my version stopped workin' for me.

I'll see if I can find a dvd cleaner and hopefully that'll help. It's wierd, the dvd works fine otherwise, just the Colony Sweep part.

Cool DVD Russ. I like the colony sweep with the firefight and hand-to-claw fighting. Gloriously, the M40 grenade ending it all. hahah Am looking forward to this years Dcon. It's gonna rock!
