The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I was at E3 this past year and I saw some of the members at the Sega booth promoting the game. It's nice to put names with the faces! You guys did great! Thanks for the shirt btw. =)

For some strange reason Sega didn't want CM going up against Modern Warfare 3... or Halo Anniversary Edition. MW3's launch date
bumped up a couple weeks after Battlefield 3 jumped the shar... er, I mean jumped their original release date by like 3 weeks.

So... Sega knocked it back again.I hope they get it out before March to avoid Mass Effect 3, or delay it until late spring early summer.

Hi
I don't know if anyone seen this but there are some new A:CM photos on gearbox facbook page.
http://www.facebook.com/GearboxSoftware
The game is looking great, Marine gear is recreated with better than I expected accuracy. :-)
This one photo I put in the attachment is the best, except maybe the elbow pads and a hand gun. The prosthetic leg of the guy in smartgunner armor is a nice touch.

How do you figure that makes it accurate? The 1911 was never
seen in any of the films as I recall.

I think it's supposed to be Vasquez's pistol, not an m1911.

They do look similar though in all fairness.

My mistake, I always thought Vas used an M1911. It looks very similar to the Model 39 she actually totes. *hangs head in shame*

Nooo! I really hope not!

The SEGA official website for the game still states, the rather loose, 'Spring 2012' & the Channel Islands based Play.Com states 30th March this year... Fingers crossed! I've been waiting for this since it was initially slated as a PS2 game way back!

http://www.sega.co.uk/alienscolonialmar ... =EnglishUK

http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation3/ ... fer=search

On a related note, why is it that Aliens based games always seem to go to development hell?! Anyone remember how long the Alien Resurrection game took to the hit the shelves for PS1?!

Cheers.

John. :)

Lets hope so. Amazon also have it listed as 30th March.

In all these years the dedicated website & the tentative release date are the closest we've been to seeing it.

Cheers.

John. :)

Hmm....
I note the USS Sephora schematics/blueprints that are shown really small in the bottom left are actually part of the Nostromo print I did, not of the Sephora, or Sulaco or any Conestoga class ship.
And no, they didn't ask..... :?

Is there a chance that Collectors Edition image could be faked Graham?

Yeah, there is a very strong chance. I've asked the question over at the Gearbox forum. Probably know more next couple of days 8)
And Jeez, if they're gonna FAKE it, they could've at least used the SULACO image right? LOL! :D

FYI, the image has been removed by Fox at the AVP Galaxy site and my thread at Gearbox asking if the image was legit or fake was also removed.
