The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hello all!

I have been working nonstop on my new marine pep project. I have been using all of the "h1rg0n-Nobody" series of pep patterns. I managed to track them all down one by one, however I seem to be unable to find ONE of them, and a pretty important one at that. The back piece! It's the last piece I need to make, and I simply cannot find it. I found the filename is "h1rg0n-Nobody Back.pdo" and I've seen screenshots of it in Pepakura, but I am having no luck finding it. All my searching ultimately ends up with dead links on 4shared. Does anybody know where I can find this one file, and why it seems to be the only one that cannot be found online?

Also, I was curious about any positive/negative feedback regarding these particular patterns. They LOOK like the best ones I've seen, but I just wondering if anyone would suggest a different direction.

Here is my current build progress:

You can also see it all here on my FB album. I have made the album public, so hopefully anyone can see. Feel free to come friend me as well. I like staying in touch. :)

If I can find the back pattern, I plan to have it all ready to start with the resin this week sometime. Of course, I will be keeping my pictures updated as it all progresses.

Thanks to all for your time!

Here's the complete lot. The back file is in there.

Thanks for the quick reply, Mole! :) I took a look at the whole set here, and it is slightly different than the ones I have been using. I wonder how many different patterns are floating around out there.

The one I'm looking for looks more like this:

It has the indents along the torso edge for the straps and more angular recesses in the back. If I can't find this one, I can try to use the model you provided. Thank you! I appreciate the reply! :)

Ah, I thought it was that one. I'm sure I've got that version somewhere but I can't find it at the moment.

Got it! Its the last one I needed. Thanks!

I had a question that comes a bit late in the process here, but still a curiosity. Whats the ideal build of someone for the default size of these h1rg0n-nobody peps? The more I build it and the more I look at it, the more it almost looks a little too big. But I guess I won't know until it's all done anyway. btw I'm approx 5'11" 34" waist.

With thanks to 88reaper88, I have completed phase 1 of my pep build (time for resin). I am a little nervous about how this is going to turn out, but theres no turning back now!

don't be nervous about the resin I was at first. but wizzed through it when I did chest. what I would do is if I did it again was resin the inside first before the out side as then the weight of resin on card won't bevel it like mine.

Quick update! I just finished the 2nd coat of resin on the outside. I'm a little high from the fumes. ;)

Any input on an ideal number of coats for the front? Looks like I can probably work with 2, but I was curious what experience/suggestions others have.

Well its been a while since I've provided an update here! This armor build is coming along slowly. I'm just about ready to start the camo paint. Heres some pics of the progress it has taken!

Heres a primer coat

You can barely tell, but this is after I'd gotten all the rivet/belting holes drilled

Hope to have the camo done by next week sometime.
I look forward to having this done, and meeting up with hopefully some of you at coming cons this year!

Thanks for looking!

Nice build!

Is it ok if I use those pep files as well? MAA is gone, and spat armor takes a long time to get, thinking of whipping up a set for Starfest in April.

Thanks much!
