The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I'm still a bit shellshocked by the weekend, things went so unbelievably well that it was an utterly heartbreaking wrench to go back home to being me again Sunday evening - there were tears before we'd even got out of the car park

Huge thanks to absolutely everyone in the UKCM who shared the experience with me and made it so awesome especially Rich, for taking charge of overseeing the A.E. and Gareth for his enthusiasm and hard work in setting up the building as our playground and resetting it at the end of the weekend. To my fellow labrats/dead disco dance party attendees my throat is still raw from all of the screaming and I wouldn't have wished it any other way - next time I'll be sure to pack extra painkillers and lozenges as they seemed a popular request

Sorry I didn't get a chance to see any of what else was going on in the main centre and well done to all involved for providing the public with lots to see and do when they weren't being psycologically damaged by the A.E. team in challenger - mwahahaha

Missing you all like a beeatch... :(

p.s. Have been trawling google for any reviews/photos from the weekend and found these so far

What an awesome weekend!
I didn't get to see a lot outside of the challenger suite, but what I did see looked brilliant! Well done to everyone for their hard work.

As for the AE, I think we managed to make it the best one yet!!! Thanks to all the marines, bugs and lab rats for working so hard.
Particular thanks to Rich Mattocks for doing your usual top notch job as stage manager, and Gary for doing another outstanding job as the Prof and stopping me from having numerous nervous breakdowns :p and of course G for getting all the tech working properly!

Same time next year? :p

ADC will be posting TOTAL monies raised for charities once all counted in the next couple of days, though as Chief Security on cash (Never left my side), I think we did really well ;)
Afraid the amount from Auction list that is with ADC too, it was my ledger for collecting the cash in and Let me tell you, collecting cash from Trev, Ricco and Terry was FANTASTIC. How many get to walk up and do the Debt Collector to these guys LOL Had just as much fun collecting from everyone else too :D

As for the NSC, well Malika has posted this and KUDOS EVERYONE involved:-
"Huge thanks to Andrew David Clark, Darren Kemp, Harry Harris, Gareth Ellner and all the UKCM / The UK Garrison and Replica Prop Board for an event that has recieved the most amazing visitor feedback. You guys did all the hard work".

So looking Good I`d say :D

Sorry Martin, what I meant by 'public' is that you have to be logged into your farcebook account but you don't need to be 'friends' with the owner of the photos or anyone tagged in them.

Hope there will be more photos up on Flickr or the like that will be available to non-FB users soon
