The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hi all,
Do you know this eBay seller ?
He sells 3 Aliens replica kits : Flame thrower, PR and Motion Detector.
They look nice... have you bought from him ? About cast quality ?
Reg,
Sven

I bought a tracker kit from him 7-8yrs ago before he was 'relocated' to S. Africa. The casting was shockingly bad and further more, in-accurate. I would avoid him/her/them.
On the plus side, due to him taking a while to post he threw in about £40-50 worth of other stuff to make up for it. Rough with the smooth as they say....

as an alternative i used mooncrestmodels (web site and ebay name) i purchased a resin camera for a helmet, and the cast was very good, much better than the ebay picture depicted - and also told me there going to be doing armour as well soon dont know about the rest of there items but i was very happy with the camera quality

all i did was to clean it of its oils and usual resin properties, no filler or sanding work, just primed it and a lick of humbrol spray to see how it looked:

and with a lick of paint:

yes thats the one, mooncrest stated they used alien war, but the earlier ask may be pointed towards where global got the casts from

No it was mooncrest I was wondering about.
I just try to ID the recasters and the legit sellers/molders.
