The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Armor people, would you be okay with unbuilt? That's what I would suggest.

As I have stated before, I would totally be OK with unbuilt.

Honestly folks, my personal opinion is that those of you who haven't received your orders by now, I would chalk them up as MIA and look elsewhere.

Easy to say when you don't have $600 tied up in it. I can't afford to just go buy another set elsewhere. I realize that I may never see this set, but I still do hold out hope that it might show up someday.

I'm doing a sized ab pad run by the end of the year.

Will offer a discount for those on the first non sized run.

Last I heard from Steve was mid this month. He had to close another property in the US.

If anything, I wouldn't mind my $230 refunded, it took me 4 months to save up for the BDU's! :| I know a lot of you have spent a lot more and waited longer, but we all could use that coin right now and/or the items we purchased.

Don't mean to be mean, but when it comes down to it, that's a lot of money for us working poor.

Anyway, I hope this works out for everyone, once all is said and done.
Cheers :delta:

I will personally wait for my BDU's to be shipped, even if it takes MAA like another year or so. Although $230 would help me out quite a bit with my fiances, I would greatly prefer to have my own BDU's tailored to me. this is just my opinion though.

Honestly? He's always been known for his shitty customer service, and he doesn't have anything to gain by posting out the remaining orders, or a reputation to uphold. Wouldn't surprise me if we never heard from him again.

I will check.

Looks like he is still traveling between several countries to settle things up, before relocating to Taiwan.

I'm not giving up. I have sent him several things as part of a trade for an additional BDU set.

Me neither, I want that BDU, I hope he'll get things moving when he's settled in Taiwan.

a little off topic here but theres a set of maa colonial marine bdus on uk ebay at the moment - if someone here is fearing they will never get there order you could always get another set if your wanting them badly, and if your order should turn up ebay them at a later date. - too big for me tho so i wont be bidding

I have bought several things from MAA and never had a problem. I know that this does not help anyone with money sent and waiting but it was not all doom/gloom. I out of all people understand and it does suck.

Thanks!

Greg

Ditto that. Matt's updates are about all we have at the moment to help keep our hopes alive.

Having one of MAA's FG built sets sounded like such a great deal a couple of years ago and I've been looking forward to it for quite a while now... I'm still holding out for it, even if it's only in kit form.

I don't fault MAA for biting off more than he could chew, only to have life step in and totally mess everything up. And I still have faith that Steve will clear up the unfinished business when he's ready, even if turns out to be only a full refund.

Of course I'd still much prefer to have the stuff he was making for me & the other items I had ordered before he had to shut down, but if it ain't ever likely to happen, then at least a full refund could be put into getting an aluminum set made instead.

I'm also still waiting. Would prefer to have the armor (unfinished kit is fine) over a refund, but either is fine. Oh, and Matt, thanks again for keeping up on this.
