The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

i think internet or someone told them.

he showed me a pic from the net.of my pulse rifle.
and well my email is registered by all the sites were i am registered.
long story sort the email let them to my address.

and i didn't even sell them on the net.
that's the reason why i didn't.

so to all the members from Holland be careful
be careful with showing pics on the net.
that's how they find me i guess.
the rules here are different then the rules in the US.

well... we still have some pics of it.

Its a sad day when the police are taking REPLICAS that dont shoot anything from law abiding citizens instead of tracking down the real criminals with REAL GUNS!!!!

It`s always easier to get the law abiding citizen and end up looking good with Public/media outrage/PR, instead of looking for the one`s who WILL commit these armed acts. We`ve seen it over here in Blighty and sad to see other countries have such knee jerking responses to this.

I am aghast !

Is it legal in the Netherlands ? I am very confused...

Are you sure you have not been crooked by false agents ?

Have they just confiscated for a while or is it for being destroyed ? I think you should hire lawyer as I find this a very undemocratic story...

Popping to someone's door like this is pretty weird especially in that particular case !

Sadly Persecution of the Innocent is always much easier than Prosecution of the Guilty!

Country: Netherlands
Dutch gunlaws are sometimes vague and enforcement depends on the view of the policeofficer in question. Toys are illegal when they are deemed 'suitable to threat a person', which is ofcoarse an odd things as what can be considered a threat by one isn't by another.

there are some weird examples:

you can buy a kenner stormtrooper toygun, but it becomes 'illegal' when painted black.
also, the C26A seburo you build shouldn't be illegal as it bears no resemblace to any existing gun. Besides since this year, the only airsoft LEGAL in this country is the Star Ikazuchi AEG

so, if this is illegal:
Image

how come this is legal,

Image
http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/1183/jg003sm.jpg

especially since it has an airsoft M4 underneath (which by dutch standards isn't legal), very, very confusing. One could even argue that if a dressed up M4 is legal, a pulserifle should be as well.

I believe the fine per illegal replica gun is 180 euro, so i would definately try to get the pulserifle and the c26a excluded based on the legality of the "Ika zuchi". As for the mp-5 and the smith and wesson, you will probably won't get out of the fine for those.

It's a lot safer to confiscate toys from average citizen, than it is to go head to head with armed criminals.
