The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Morning all!

I have had a few mails about the squads, who is who and how do you join / get assigned. Up to now the squads have been assigned down to (loosely) geographical location. We have found over the years that most members have fallen into one squad so we believe a change is in order.

From now on all new members will be assigned a squadron after their first drop. The decision will be made by attending squad c/o’s and will be based on the “recruits” attributes / attitude, or lack of. :D

The exceptions to this rule will be:

All recruits from Scotland and the Borders into Hadrian’s Wall and as always all members of the Garrison or “other” specified costuming groups into the Bucketheads (solely because only Geordi can give them the order, rules, regulations and discipline that they need).

It is also to be noted that all decisions regarding new recruits will have to be passed and granted by the Vortigaunt, its word is LAW! … a bit like the UKCM sorting hat!

More details to follow, all members without squads please contact me and I will pass your names onto the Vortigaunt through its interdimentional portal.

End of line.

Do you guys assign a squad to anyone with USCM patches?? Or do you have to have UKCM patches to get one?

The UK has been broken down to a Regional unit, Scotland is covered by "HADRIAN`S WALL",. North of Watford (well you know what southerners are like :p) is "THE FREEBOOTERS", The South "HOMER`S HEROES" except for "BUCKETHEADS" which encompasses None UKCM members with Colonial Marine gear from around the Isle.

Been awhile but I think that encompasses the unit breakdown.

Anyone with USCM, UACM, UBCM, UJCM, or UAnythingCM patches on could be considered 'on detatchment' assigned to a UKCM battalion, I guess... The real militaries do it all the time.

Btw, this is how you spell 'accuracy'. And the photo in my banner was taken in Iraq (2005). Its a REAL combat uniform. I'm going to tell Elvira you thought she was a transvestite!

LOL... No... that's how Americans spell it... and i had to chastise Mr Sink for exactly the same thing about accuracy as well! Just the sort of behaviour i would expect from a Manchester United fan!

BTW... GI Joe did not have goggles like that so its not accurate!
