The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Ok an update, me and Liz should be coming with a third member in our party who will joining us in a vasques style costume! I will re post the attending list once she's confirmed. Just to reiterate it is ok for us just to turn up, wonder around and look amazing isn't it? Also were do we get tickets from? Or dont we need them?

Be great to see you!
The NSC have said that unless you're working as part of the the Alien Encounter team or on the display tables/ranges, etc – see the relevant sign up threads or PM Darren (FriendlySkies) – then you'll need to buy tickets. Good news is it's cheap at only £12 for two days.
No advance tickets are being sold, just buy 'em on the day.

Cheers

I honestly think being there, without having to 'work' is going to be the best way to experience it. There's gonna be so much cool stuff to do, see and hear we're having trouble scheduling it all! :-D

The more people we get signed up for the display table/nerf range the less time each person will have to spend doing it. We'll try to make sure that everyone is free for each Q&A etc on at least one of the days so everyone gets to see them all.
Hopefully we'll have an event schedule worked out in a few weeks (at least a rough one) and then we can sort out the rotas.

    Cheers

    Darren

Just want to clarify (not aimed specifically at you Steve) if you are taking part in the AE or helping on the display tables/ranges you will get free entry. If not you will have to pay for entry like everyone else. Costume or not.

Also, I'm sure people won't anyway but please don't expect to get your autographs for free because your part of the group. It's great that we've managed to get as many guests as we have so far but remember they will be expecting to make some money just like they would at any other show. Apologies if that's obvious but just felt it should be clear.

    Cheers

    Darren

No worries on my part, already knew I'd be paying for entry and wouldn't dream of expecting any autographs for free. :-)

Made my guest aware of the costs involved as soon as they were posted too. :)
