The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Welcome to the AL! :D

The major auction sites have face huggers, but I wouldn't buy from far east countries, as a lot are remoulds/copies of dubious quality.

You could do what I did and buy a plushie one, which tend to be easier to find, then look for others frequently. 8)

The first vinyl kit I believe was by Halcyon in the early 90's, and was re-released by Tsukuda. I think this is the same kit, though the Tsukuda one was ready made with some basic painting.
PVB's right, the far-eastern kits are recast and are white in colour. They are slightly smaller also as it has shrunk during the recast process and the vinyl is not as flexible.
The Halcyon and Tsukuda kits use vinyl that is pale yellow/orange in color.

Even though they are recasts. Still they are still alright if you would like to purchase one i would just reccomend the far east recasts as you will be very lucky to buy a real halcyon kit. I bought one from east and yes it was a recast but it was a really good build. If you like i can find a price, get it, build it, paint it and ship it to you. If not i would just recommend eBay.
