It's very superfluous.

Mine was a largely unedited chunk of raw footage, because my editing software broke and so it was a hack and slash. Camera was high quality though.

Conversely, ADC is a massively talented filmmaker with professional equipment and more patience.

That's ok guys – for those who haven't seen it (which is probably most people on here) I did film the Alien Encounter a few years back. Most of it was filmed 'fly on the wall' over two run throughs but I did manage to direct some sequences in the second half of the event, which helped to embellish it a lot. To really do it properly I'd need to dedicate a whole weekend exclusively geared for filming and that's just not going to be possible. Besides that fact I wouldn't want to do it again anyway! If anyone else wants a stab at it, be my guest. Happy editing!

I hope you like it when you finally do see it. It's hard to get the atmosphere across in a film so to get the proper feel of the experience I had to add lots of gun fire and sound fx, etc. It really is a great event which I was happy to be a part of the first two years it ran.
