The NSC web address was not put on there at this point Steve because it may give the impression there's more info at the site, which there isn't, as yet.
There's no harm in adding it though, I don't think. Although you don't need the http://www.

Would be good if the NSC site did have at least a mention of it though, even if it just says "More news coming soon!"
Not worth advertising/promoting something if it's finalised but the venue doesn't show any knowledge of it.

I always put the whole URL, just out of habit.

Malika's done a great job with the guests so far Callum and we're both working on more. Fingers crossed. At the moment it's all about getting the word out, teasing some interest, get a buzz going.

The AE and all the other stuff will be promoted, Rich - as you say, well worth promoting and could be a big draw. Going to put a video out for that for the first time, and there will be a more concise poster which will also advertise the other attractions. That poster will need a bit more thought in order to make it clear to people exactly what the AE is. The NSC art department will have that done in a couple of weeks all being well.

And before anyone asks, YES, that is Abe on the poster!

This is just a teaser poster to get something out there and start generating awareness. Other guests and activities will be added to the advertising soon.

Is calling the whole weekend "Alien Encounters" not going to cause some amount of confusion with the "Alien Encounter" event we do in Challenger?

I'd have thought "Aliens Anniversary" would have been the obvious choice ( And it alliterates nicely )

The NSC doesn't want multiple versions of the posters out or changes at this stage. There will be a more concise one out soon with all the info on once things are concrete in terms of guests and pricing. But let's talk tonight Paul, because if it's minor additions to the text for the UKCM page I would think it would be ok, and I can run it by the NSC.

I know there`s plenty afoot behind the scenes at the moment for the NSC.

I was wondering if we were doing another AL/UKCM Dinner on the Saturday evening? Along with maybe another charity driven auction?
What a blast the one in `08 was, moreso with the intense bidding over Munkeys face (cast) lol
