I've had a message from a guy called Jaime Milner who organises Wales Comic Con, saying that he'd love for the UKCM to be part of the day.

The event is on 5 Jun, 10am-5pm, at Glydwr University in Wrexham - more info on the website http://www.walescomiccon.com

I said I'd find out if anyone (or any alien) fancies a day out in Wales, so let me know if you're interested and I'l find out a bit more for you or put you in touch with Jaime. I'd quite like to go but I think the travelling would be a bit of a problem for me

Will depend greatly on accomodation and cash flow at the time. We're hoping to get a house around that time.

I'd drive if a few people fancy a road trip - it's about 3.5 hours. So it might mean arriving the night before?

I need to check my work is conducive before signing up for sure.

How about booking a mini-bus thing?

I can hire a mini bus if it would be less claustrophobic, but since at the moment it would just be the three of us I'd hope my car would suffice!

I can't do 7 hours of driving and be Abe in one day, so it would need to be a 2-dayer - arrive on the Saturday and show on Sunday.

I could get a days insurance on my car for someone if they want to share the driving.

Jake, can you get to Birmingham from where you are?
That could make for a more viable pick-up.

Ill see whether Birmingham or London is more viable.

This look interesting. I would stay at a B&B or hotel for the Saturday night as I hate driving in the morning. Do the show and driving back on Sunday night as it is just down the M5 - A5.
