Why do they always have to modify the design? This sure won't be a mass product - so why modify it when they want to sell it to Aliens fans? And if they do want to do something differend why not produce the high version Ripley is wearing?

Didn't they do a re release of the correct color back in 2004? IIRC thats when I got mine.

Here is what I did when the all white ones came out the same time as the gray ones did years ago.
The white Stompers had a blue tongue though.
I painted the gray areas with leather paint I mixed to match as best I could.
Find a pair of the white versions and you are good to go.

Plenty of Alien Stompers available at:

They have three color choices including, Grey/Red, Wheat/Earth and Topsoil/Red. Price is only $69 US delivered. Plenty of size choices. This is the only place I could find that had then except for eBay at $150 plus shipping.

Anywhere from a 11&1/2 to a thirteen US. The "so close" comment was more towards there being a source for these and at the proper size...and in the next post was you stating they only had 9-9.5.

I got my hopes up, only to have them come crashing down on the shores of disapointment all in the span of a few seconds. :lol:

Me too. With Reeboks I'm US size 12, I also had high hopes after the comment "plenty of size choices".
Why they make them in limited number I'll never guess

FYI, I find the ones I bought a couple of years ago to be a bit tight and I have very slim feet, so err on the side of the next size up, IMHO. :)

I was just notified by pickyourshoes.com that they are out of my size on the wheat color. I ordered a 10.5. They have a 10 and an 11 but every pair of shoes I own are 10.5. I read PVB's post and was ready to go for the 11 then Jonesy's and I thought a 10 might work. Now I figure I'll pass. Hmmm???

I have the same prob ram I think I am gonna pass to besides my old School Chuck Taylors,are just way to comfortable.

Jonesy good advice. I have to wait on this crazy ice/snow storm hitting us today/tomorrow. Going to be crazy. Even my work closed as did many others and all schools. Saying it could be the heaviest snow in 30 years. Yikes! Think I'll assemble my Sgt. Apone Hot Toys figure. :-)
