The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Ok, a new year, and some new goodies coming from the SpatCave!

2010 saw the new drop down IR sight, and a few new smaller prop items.

2011 is already poised to have a new resin prop kit coming very soon. It's an item that I've never seen offered as a kit before, so I think it will go over well for the Marine who needs to be ready for anything! Stay tuned to the Base PX, and once it's ready, I'll post it there.

I'm also looking at offering correct camo paint on my Marine Armor. Don't worry, I won't be painting it myself, but would instead send it out to be painted first, then would strap it afterward. It will jack up the price a bit, but it will be movie accurate right out of the box.

With the correct camo, I'll also be offering green buckles and webbing on the custom painted armor sets. These items are a lot more expensive than the regular ones, but the prices are starting to come down, and they are becoming more readily available. If there's good feedback about those, and I can find a regular supplier and get better pricing, I may start using the green strapping and buckles on all the armor I offer (except the black sets, of course). We'll see.

I still have a few other things I'm looking at adding to my store, including some new Pulse Rifle Variants, larger armor pieces, a Flame Unit, and a few other little bits and bobs here and there. Maybe 2011 will be the year I get those out.

As I have been for the last decade (and then some), I'm always here to listen to your ideas of other items or improvements on existing ones that I can offer. So if there's anything you guys and gals can think of that you can't get elsewhere, let me know and I'll see what I can do!

Happy 2011, Marines!!

I don't know, just reading the "dresser of nerds" line on his avatar still cracks me up

Sounds good though -- progress!
