The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

giving Queenie time to stash an egg somewhere. :)

I did always wonder what that big suitcase she was carrying with her as she came out of the elevator was for. I always just figured it was her overnight gear ;)

We didn't get a clear view of her, so I reckon she had it tucked under one of her arms. :D

Anyway it was not Bishop , he was outside repainting the name Sulaco in white , that's why it's a different colour in Alien 3

That, or the reason it was white is because Ripley couldn't remember accurately in her dream :)

Why would Bishop secretly stash an egg? :?
You're not confusing him with Ash are you?

Or even Burke?

Since the queen left her entire egg sac/ovipositor etc behind in the hive I doubt it's feasible that she laid an egg once aboard the Sulacco and don't see it very likely for her to be carrying one either so I guess it remains a mystery! ;)

I like to think that a couple of Facehuggers hitched a ride on the Queen, then scampered off somewhere warm and cosy when aboard the Sulaco.

The rest is obvious.

One thing I just noticed watching ALIENS on Blu-Ray... Sorry if this has been posted before:

When Ripley is in the elevator going down to the hive and she loads the grenades. She stands up and just before she turns on the flame thrower... The counter on the Pulse Rifle reads "42". Not 15 seconds ago, it read "95".

Oh the awesomeness that is Blu-Ray

The queen could of laid an egg by herself. The aliens adapt to there enviroment and out of neccesity evolve to whatever version is needed or feasable. The queen is capable of laying an egg on her own the ovapositor was more of a giant incubator to lay the eggs in droves. Given that all her children on acheron where destroyed it would of been imperative to lay a egg capable of producing a new matriarch.

And bishop was out there repainting the sulaco well half of him. It must of been his blood that covered the outer hull to change the color. lol

Speaking of the Blu-Ray, why won't anybody post any high def screenshots for reference? If I knew how, I would. ;)

It's made slightly difficult by copy-protection.

There are bitstream rips going around. I'd like to get hold of a set so I can actually own the blu-rays I bought ... TBH, I might get hold of a BR drive for my computer to do it out of a point of principle ...

Quite a few review sites had (AFAIK) notices from Fox to remove any HD screen grabs, so you could Google to find any that are left.

Why is everyone arguing about "that" EGG?? Don't you know there was two!
One that nailed Ripley and the other one that nailed the cow/dog in A3. So unless it was twins there needs to a lot more explanation. I think it's like this. Bishop gets on board the RC DS. Get two eggs he has found on the colony but not told anyone (he couldn't keep his hands off them "marvelous little creatures"). Fly up to the Sulaco hide them away. Putting a heat lamp underneath setting the timer for 20hrs. Gets crazy over what he have done so in a ditch of therapy he decides to go out side to re-paint the ship and shortens it (?) so it can fit the camera shot of A3. He then goes back to the DS, fly down to get Rip and acts as nothing.

When leaving the APS with Ripley he stops by to pick up the queen for his collection. He hides the rear landing skid warning light from Ripley and blames the 3 ton tail overweight indicator on the guys at IBM and the following pilot control issues on his simulated nerves and upcoming explosion.

There were a few preview ones where the pics were taken down.

Edit: In fact Willie, you posted them:

So preview as in before release?

If so then that is understandable, either way I'll send an email first to make sure it's ok, just stating it's a forum for members who exclusivley like the series and it will be at no profit to myself or aliens legacy forums. In fact it may work as advertising for the blu-ray edition.
