The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Great to know Matt! One question though, do you know the size code for the screws included with Tom's adapter? M4? M6? M8?

just an idea why not get a suitable sized bolt and wind on 4 or 5 nuts to suit depth needed if you pull the nuts tight to each other but stagger the edges then drill hole with good clearance for nuts then pour in resin to fix nuts and bolt into hole when cured remove bolt and hey presto a fully threaded hole firmly fixed into body of gun or am i just talkin nuts
sorry nick i got steel in my blood  but i think this will be a solid fix and pretty much the same as the items you show earlier but i think the nuts would give a much better fix than those as i use simular things in woodwork and over time they can work or pull out not enough grab on the outer surfaces, just my ten bobs worth. all the best as always Rob
ps. quick edit after some thinking for an even better fix you could even put washers between the nuts of a size that overlaps the nuts to give an even greater surface area for the resin to bond to

There should be 3 vent holes in the top row either side of the ejection port.

need to cut that bit off in the middle on the underneath side of the spas, otherwise the trigger group wont slide in.

Is it any surprise I can cut up a spas cage from memory LOL

Nick's one matches the guide linked to on the previous page, including the notch at the end on the underside for the trigger. :|

yes

**edit**

It depends on what kind of mods you do to your shotgun trigger.

If you do a full deact and remove the hammer and slide release and shave the trigger guard completely off then you do not need to remove it.

However if you retain the hammer in the 870 then a portion of the trigger guard needs to remain and you will have to remove that highlighted piece in order to fit the 870 into the cage.

Don't know if you still need this info, but the screws on Tom's adapter are standard (imperial) 1/4-20.

What are you using for the front block on the GL? The triangle usually mounts by the screw going into the block... as you have it that nut will get in the way.

On the SD block the screw which is 8-32 I believe will go through the triangle, through the spas cage and tighten down into the block.
