The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

OK Marines listen in! I have an important question for you what does the heaviest Pulse Rifle replica of any type Resin/Real Steel etc weigh!

May seem like an off the wall Question all will become clear shortly! ;)

Very useful for a Design Specification!

My SD with a steel receiver is 17.8lbs but most hero's are about 1lb less.

My airsoft version with functional M870, real steel cage and all that weighs about 13 lbs or so without batteries or a magazine. Of course, it's not fully assembled either. I estimate the final version will be appx. 15lbs fully loaded.

Where'd you get that number from?

I think you're about 5-6 pounds or more over. IIRC when I had an SD Studios rifle it weighed in at 18 pounds or so.

I've held an SD (it was a few years ago now) and I swear it weighed over 20lbs......VERY heavy indeed.

If those with SD's say they're only about 18 then I'd be inclined to go with that simply because it's been a while.

I remember Steve D. telling me something along the lines of that they were extremely heavy and it would be near impossible for most people to hold one with one hand and your arm outstretched like a pistol when I was setting up my purchase, but I did it... momentarily. :P Yes they are heavy!

Depends on which version you have of course. :)

And I can't really "one hand" mine either. It's too barrel heavy. :)

I'd say my resin spulse weighs about 3kg or just under 7 pounds, fully assembled, all parts as spat intended. I've been unable to properly weigh it, but that's my firm guess.
