The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Decent Sony or Samsung ones cost less than £130 from the likes of Amazon and Play (where I got mine). 8)

And me, got the Sony BDP-S360 with the 3 films for £119.99

I see they are doing that for £179.99 now though.

But if you're thinking of getting Avatar on Blu-Ray then this is probably a bit of a bargain

OK I realise I'm Johnny come lately on this one and these suggestions are probably to late to make the cut even if they are any good! I'd not read this thread up to now because I don't have Blu Ray player but I've been having a OK what haven't looked at yet day! ;)

So having read everyone elses suggestion these are the things that popped into my head having recently watched the Quadrilogy Aliens Bonus Disc.

1. Footage if it exists of the Marines Training in Pinewoods "sculptured gardens" and Carrie Henn running along carrying her Cabbage Patch Doll!

2. A more in depth version of the story behind how Michael Biehn came to replace the original Hicks.

3. A where are they now interview with the actor originally cast to play Hicks why he was replaced and how he feels about missing out on playing one of the most iconic Movie heroes of our time.

4. A more in depth version of Al Matthews interview about using his real world military experience to whip his team into shape "putting the boot in" etc.

5. Track down and interview the "Special Forces guys" who put the Colonial Marines through their Boot Camp.

6. A browsable digital version of the Colonial Marines Tech Manual.

7. An It'll Be Alright On The Night style Blooper Reel there must be some out there!

AND Finally this is not an "extra" but correct the infamous pick up a Pulse Rifle put down a Flamer, Pick up a Flamer put down a Pulse Rifle blooper! I'm surprised its not been done before its an obvious cutting mistake and doesn't require any new footage to sort it out!

EDIT Oh and one more thing since Cameron and various other people acknowledged the Vietnam metaphors in the movie how about a short study of just what was lifted from Vietnam for the film for example Bill Paxton seems to think "DO NOT PUNCTURE CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE" on his armour was their own little in joke/invention!

Only one Alien extra? :?

Or is that just an extra extra on top of the ones from the Quadrilogy extras? :)
