The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

This one has been a LONG time coming! We finally got in Mirax's pulse rifle from Matsuo! Now, before you guys go flooding Matsuo with requests, he has been holding onto this for us for THREE YEARS! He doesn't make pulse rifles any more so I am really glad we got in on one back in the day and am VERY happy we now have it in hand.

One question:

Where can I find an original style sling?!?

Guess I could answer those questions best...

Shrouds, resin, aluminum filled
Thompson, Aluminum resin with metal fire control parts, trigger, safety, selector, mag catch, hinge plate.
Bolt aluminum resin, metal bolt handle
Shoulder stock, steel, adjustable
Grenade launcher, aluminum resin with working bolt and resin pump grip
Counter, black face static 95, Battery pack easy access under shroud trapezoids
Finish gunmetal buffed with steel wool to reveal metallic finish below.
Shrouds Aervo dark earth (Brown Bess alternative)

As noted I cant make Pulse rifles anymore partly due to the upcoming HCG PR but also due to the fact that I am completely out of metal parts, and nearly all of my molds have worn out.

Features....

Hmm...

Sliding and locking metal stock.
Spring loaded bolt on the Thompson.
Shell is solid resin and I think CC... at least it looks metalic underneath.
GL pump works.
Counter light up with "95"
Think that is about it. It is VERY solid and VERY well made.

It is stunning what Matsuo can do with resin.

Congrats!!! As the proud owner of a Matsuo PR, I well know the feeling of pride that comes from hefting one! That is a superb piece! And soon, we get to see Mirax toting it?? :delta:

How long is your non-competition agreement in affect for out of curiosity?

Informally, until the HCG run is over and all units are sold. HCG have been very reasonable in this regard.

But...even if I were to take it up again it would take a load of cash to retool and have more metal parts made, I'm not sure the market would support the effort.

We originally asked Matt to go very light on the weathering and he did, but once I got it... I just wanted MORE... So I have been slowly working on layers of weathering and a few light washes... I am not sure this photo really shows it well, but the initial photo had only a few scratches... this one has considerably more as well as the washes... Didn't want to go too strong, but wanted to give it a little more lived in feel.

Hahaha... I actually purposefully left the left side (back side for a right handed person) a bit less weathered than the right side for that very reason!

Looks good- not overboard with the weathering!
