The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hey all

Just to let people know that I have cancelled my broadband service today with BT due to them sucking so much arse and all that. Anyway, my broadband may obviously stop working at any time and I will not be getting a new ISP until I move at the end of this month. So basically, if you email or PM me and dont get a reply you'll know why now.

Cheers

Darren

If that's from home, what about from work or do you work from home?

Mike

Yeah, that's from home mate. I don't work in an office though so don't have any other means of using the net unfortunately.
It's a bit inconvenient, especially so close to a drop (if anything news happens then I'll need someone to let me know on the phone please) but I just wasn't going to put up withh third rate service from yet another big company.

I still have to cancel my home phone line with them though. No doubt they'll say I have to pay a penalty for that as well though (since I am still in contract) but I won't be paying anything other than what I have used so far, the bastiches.

Cheers

Cheers Andy

Not far Vicky, just over to Stubbington in Fareham. It's much quieter, which will be nice. I'll actually be able to open a window in the evening and still be able to hear the TV lol

Cheers

Don't know about over there but, in the USA we
can go to the library and go on line. That may be an option.

Hope the move goes well.....

Yeah, most libraries have net access now and there's still a few net cafes about. :)

I spoke to BT earlier again and apparently my internet access should be OK until the 17th but I'm kind of taking what they say with a pinch of salt. I don't really have time to go to libraries or such just to use the net though, family life and all that. Anyway, if it stays on till the 17th then it won't be too bad anyway. only a week or so with no access.

It's only about 10 miles closer DATA btw but I'm sure it will help when I come down again to get working on that motion tracker :)

Cheers

Darren
