The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Ok,
thanks to Harry, I will post some pictures of my M41A Rifle again.

Like I wrote before, I used all real-world weapon parts fopr the build.
The barrel vent and stock are handcrafted by myself out of 3mm steel, also the barrel extension is handmade.
The shrouds are from HCG and repainted in Humbrol brown Bess 170 Matt.

Great Job man!

I've been meaning to get mine done for many years. Unfortunately no one makes an accurate 8-hole barrel vent.

I much prefer the wood grip, looks so much nicer!

Love your work on this, particularly the hand made stock and vent. Nice craftsmanship :)

What's this monster weigh? Are the reports of 25lbs accurate? Beautiful regardless

Thanks for all the nice words…

Yes, I like the wooden grip also much more than the painted one, looks way better for me... :-)

The rifle weight about 9.25kg, (20.28lbs) without magazine, so as much as an modern LMG, not that bad..
