The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Post subject: Service Number Registry Clean-up
PostPosted: Tue Oct 31, 2006 8:30 pm
Hello marines, I'm looking through my records and have noticed that some info is missing from my registry... and I've noticed a few errors. Please verify the list, look for your name, and please validate the info below. If the service number you have doesn't match, this list's info will prevail. If you have a callsign or you've moved from the area as entered, please let me know.

Thanks for you cooperation.

WHOAH. Nobody told me about this. I've added info from marines who've obtained their service number from an office other than mine... although it would still be appreciated if people cold notify me of their service numbers, especially to see if it is available.... one of the aims of my registry is to ensure there are no doubles.

A few points:

1.) Marc "Geordi" Freedman - You are listed a sergeant in my registry, but on the UKCM site, you are listed as a PFC. Was there a demotion I wasn't aware of? Please let me know what you should appear as.

2.) Peter "Fal Bowden" Cooper - You are listed as Trooper Cooper on my list.... which callsign is good Fal?

3.) Fraser "Fraz" Stevenson - You are listed as a sergeant in my registry, but on the UKCM site, you are listed as a Pt. Same thing for you, which one is it?

4.) Darren "Friendlyskies" Kemp - You are listed as a corporal in my registry, but on the UKCM site, you are listed as a PFC. What's going on here?

5.) Gareth "Pug50" Ellner // XENO A96/TQ1.8.34962E2 and Bri "BuGz" McEnroe // XENO Bugs with service numbers? Are they on our side?

6.) Tony "TonyandCherie" Leach - Listed as a BUCK PRIVATE?! What's going on over there? Tough crowd!

7.) Alex "Dacrates" Howard according to my records, your service number belongs to Pt McBrien, J aka Tuna South East England-UK Can you both please contact me?

8.) Phil "Quicksaber" Grosvenor // PVT... again... you're listed as a PFC. Please validate.

9.) Iain "D1znee" Thomson // PFC is listed with me as - A08/TQ1.0.12143E1 MSgt Thomson, I D1znee Greater London-UK Records not matching.

10.) Steve "Scapegoat" Fletcher // PVT and again.... A05/TQ1.0.32151E1 Cpl Fletcher, S Rev. Scapegoat Glasgow-UK

11.) Tony "TonyRB" Barnett // PVT I've got YOU listed as a Cpl.

12.) Andrew "Saintadjg" Gardener // PFC you're listed as A06/TQ2.0.12147E1 Cpl Gardener, A Saint South East England-UK Please let me know what it should be listed as.

13.) Michael"Chancer" Murray I have you as a Cpl on my list, you listed as a Pt on UKCM

Will the following marines please contact me, I need more information from you to update your SVC No registry-

Andrew "Arcy" Hiscock // PVT A56/TQ7.3.79172E2 ( I need your callsign and region of residence )

Alex "Bluepugdriver" Richardson // PVT ( I'd like to register you for a svc no )

Jon "Kona" Murphy // PVT
A11/TQ0.0.82148E1        Sgt        Stevenson, F ( I need to know your region of residence)

Hi Dom

The reason the ranks are different on the UKCM site is that ALL members have been started as a Private and are promoted as time goes on at events etc. With the USCM charter which they all probably signed up to first we were allowed to choose a rank.

I would be happy to have my rank changed on the USCM charter to PFC as per the UKCM one and I'm sure the others will too but they can speak for themselves of course.

Cheers

Darren

Understood... thanks for the clarification. If you want to keep the ranking system seperate, I understand this, although I feel that service numbers should still be synchronized with my already established registry. Is someone over there handing out service numbers? Can this person please contact me?

Also, I'd like to know what the deal is with the bugs with svc numbers... I had discussed this with Tony in the past, I was thinking more of a Borg-like registry, you know, 1 of 5, etc...

Fal or Trooper work. Fal is probably better for here as it's my ezboard name. However, Trooper is used just about everywhere else.

All other details correct.

Hi, Dom!

Arnold M. is listed twice. This is the right version:

A05/TQ2.2.22149E1 MSgt Arnold, M Flippy Hessen-DEU

you can delete the other one.

Dreyer D., Wegmann J., Ruffer M. and Roessler H. are right

PS:
soon, there will be more germans. Much more :D

Personally, I would like to keep my service number, not least because I may have USCM gear at some point in the future.

And I find this comparison with the Borg offensive! We are of independent mind, working together to serve the Queen!

No disagreement there. Contact me when you do, and I'll add you to the registry.

I thought it was the masses that made up the hive mind.
Whenever the queen dies the hive is in disarray.....

...either way....and before the hijack fairy kicks my ass.....rock on ;)
