The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hey folks,

ive been reading up on flamethrower kids from Wilco on this board, and i am wondering if i can get the email to them or know where i can find more information?

it seems that they still exist if there was a UK group order back in January. Does anyone have any information about this that they can tell me whats the deal?

thanks a whole bunch!

If you've already seen this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4839

then you'll know that getting ones that have been ordered has been 'problematic'.

If you want the contact details, post in there and skapunkninja may reply to you, but here's what he just said about the existing large order of flame units:

The guy from Wilco models is being a complete cock and just keeps giving excuse after excuse. As i said before, I'll give anyone back their money if they want it, just pm me and i'll get it sorted

Also, could you have a look here:

and edit your profile accordingly? :)

Working with them and knowing them personally it pains me to say this.....but I agree.

The bulk order that was done was terrible and I wouldn't want anyone else to be screwed around like that.

From what I understand, Wilco has a partner named Alex Wakal who has a business called Dreadnaught Industries. Most often you can contact him (Alex) and he'll get Wilco moving.

Spat, please finish the Flamethrower kit before you start the job.....PLEASE!!!

ssnake....if you don't have any other avenues you can always ask if you can do what I did.
I paid 50% down and 50% upon receiving the kit.
It was a few years ago now (about 3) but you never know.

But understand its a very cheap kit.

Just so everyone understands, Wilco is a "Company" of two.
And Dan, the owner, recently got out of the hospital after surgery.

You're not the only ones waiting on items from Wilco FYI.

Alex Wakal was (last I heard) on active duty overseas. It's been a while
since I last talked to him.

Who is Bill - William Lenches then? :?
That's who I had the poor dealings with at Wilco.

Yes Bill is William.

When I spoke with Bill last time he stated that he was not getting any help from his people on the kits.

Hi Tony

Yep I know Bill is William.

Maybe could have worded it better, but I meant that I hadn't seen his name actually mentioned in any of the above posts regarding Wilco. :?

Talked to another Dan last night ('Lostncybr') and he said Wilco's Dan had a pacemaker installed.
So apparently there's only 2 people working at/for Wilco and Dan is on light duty per Doctor's orders.

Don't know any more than that.

i contacted Dreadnaught Industries prior to posting my original post. From what i was told in the reply email (which i would post but its not in my inbox for some reason, which is strange since i have my inbox set up so i can save all read email), they arnt making any flamethrower kits and if they were going to its not high on the priority list of items they will be making.
