The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Just got thinking here. Well that and my Spulse Mk III just got here.

How many picked their own counter number ?
If you did pick your own number what was the reason?

I got 68 on mine. Just figured if it gets set by a couple others somewhere 68 being the year I was born may help pick it out of crowd.

On the hero build I'm working on, I just went with 95... Toyed with the idea 41, or 84, or even 60, but in the end I figured I'd most likely never let myself wander around with a half empty magazine!

Oddly, the most common numbers I get requests for are:

95
68
69
42
01

Hope that helps!

Uh, what was I going to say again...?

...

Oh yeah, anyway, I always thought it would be fun to have a counter say either 10 or 5. Reminds me of horror movies where the guy with the assault rifle has only a few round left. :P

I don't think people use 68 for the year. It's what I have on my Spulse and it's not because of 1968.

It's like 69, but I owe you 1.

Long story.

I got 95 on mine just because it would bug me if I had another number on it. On that note the counter is supposed to be red and not orange or green right?

Oh man GREEN.
That would be so cool. Especially on an all black rifle.

I think mines around 14. It came pre-wired like that from the manufacturer. I like it, a low/odd number.

I meant "odd" as in "different", not numerical value. :)
