The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I'll be keeping Mantroon company at the bar.

Don't worry, newbies, not all of us are so regimented and out there attending every event. A lot of us spend most of our time at the bar, enjoying the local "Color".

Going off campus to other bars and restaurants is fun, but you tend to miss all the really funky DragonCon stuff and all the room parties.

There's a reason why all the bartenders and waitresses at the Hyatt know me by name.

:)

I say chap`s sounds like your going to start the Boston Tea party all over again, well done & Tally ho indeed.

Don`t forget though chap`s,when facing down the enemy, wait till you can see the WHITES of their eye`s.

I think this could be a reason we loose so many fighting these accursed bugs, don`t you know.

Just show these colonial`s how it`s done Properly.

15 a pop. maybe I should just forget the clothing and pack the car full of Beer. LOL. I am sure with a bit of OD paint and some stencilling I could make them look like some kind of prop.

After our first year we started bringing our own as well. I know that's a bit tough for the way out of towners but any "supplies" you can smuggle sure help the wallet out.

That's the spirit! Myself I carry pouch designed for paintball speedloader tubes. They also conveniently hold plastic water bottles which in turn hold about 2 1/2 beers each. Those, along with a flask, make it easier to stray out on away missions should you choose to do so

I like to use a "Frost bag". Here I am at All-Con 06 sharing a beer with a friend.

Would be great if someone from the UKCM took orders before they came over and brought some with them. I understand they are cheap AND screen accurate. Friendlyskies sent me mine (thanks once again Darren). We ALWAYS make a run to the liquor store just down the road from the hotels & say hi to "Superman". It's all part of the Dcon experience.

Here's my plan for Saturday:

01:00 - Room Parties.
02:00 - Leave Room Parties and wander back to the bar.
03:00 - Bar is closed, but I still have drinks, so not moving.
04:00 - Finishing all drinks.
05:00 - Leave bar.
05:30 - Stumble into hotel room (hopefully mine).
08:30 - Stumble (get dragged) to Parade meeting area.
09:00 - Get carried through parade route on a stretcher.
10:00 - Stop by bar for Bloody Mary.
12:00 - Lunch
13:00 - It's 17:00 somewhere! Off to the bar for a real drink!
14:00 - Watch you guys do your Colony Sweep with Video Camera in one hand, drink in other.
15:00 - Donate something really cool and expensive to the raffle and win a sock. A used sock.
16:00 - Steal biscuits from Paul.
16:10 - Back to Hyatt Bar to set up shop for the night.
17:00 - Still at bar.
18:00 - Still at bar.
19:00 - Send some lackey out to get me some food so I don't have to leave the bar.
20:00 - Bar.
21:00 - Bar.
22:00 - Toilet break.
23:00 - Bar
24:00 - Room Parties!

There you go! And I know a few Marines will be joining me for all or most of that list. Anyone else is welcome to join us, but be warned, this is when and where Spat Gone Wild gets filmed.

Like Spat said, the schedule I posted is a listing of main events, no one is obliged to follow it... it's there as a guideline.

If you look at the exif info of these images, you'll find us munchy-wunching on corn bread at 07:28 :)

I spent the time chatting and stretching my back. Stupid hotel beds.

That would be a great Idea Mike. Wonder whose are we can twist.

If all else fails I do have couple flasks of Scotch for emergencies. I am also thinking about hooking a "Butt Pack" to the web belt like back in the days I jumped.
