The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I really should. I have a PILE of parts but really only enough to build one full one right away.
I need to go through my storage and select a kit of parts to form the One True PR (at least for me.... ).

This won't be quick, but I probably need to start with an inventory and work from there. Stay tuned viewers, this could be fun!

Any comments or advice most welcome. :)

Cheers

Tony

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

Matsuo, I just hope it will be good enough to display. I have decided that it will be a PR as I want it, rather than sweat the details I cannot do anything about.

Upside is that I do have things like a resin cast upper and lower Thompson and shotgun, heaps of SD metal parts and a choice between the SD plastic shrouds and the GEM resin ones....plus some invaluable trinkets in resin from you.

Eight hole certainly appeals and thank all that is that I still retained one real SPAS cage....;)

As I said, once I get back from holidays I will start with an accurate inventory of what I do have to work with.

Cheers

Tony

Tommin, the Dropship is still with me, but will slide on the priority list as I have decided this year I will finish something now that I am finally settled in one location.

I went to my storage and checked out what I do have for building a pulse rifle and at least after all the bull I went through a few years back I do have enough to do a PR to a reasonable standard.

Notable amongst these are two ten hole barrel vent assemblies ( I think they are Gary Weaver and DeanO versions) and three eight hole vents (two GEM and one SD).
Four barrels (three SD and one GEM).
Three shrouds (one SD set, one GEM set in cast resin and aa very early GW vacform set).
Parts for a hollow cast 870 with seperate slide and loading ramp.
Cast resin GEM Thompson (and enough seperate resin internals, both GEM ,Deck36 and Matsuo to have some good functionality)
One real SPAS cage and grip plus two GoldenArmor fibreglass grips.
Three or four SD metal grenade launcher front blocks.
Three sets of SD metal parts (shroud plates, screw sets and metal straps.
Four stocks of varying parentage, SD, GW, GEM and others.
Five pistol grips, four SD and one a black resin recast of an SD.
A machined steel Thompson upper, no bolt cavity machined as yet.
Other assorted parts and bits.

Right now I am firming on the resin Thompson and 870 wrapped in an SD shroud with a ten hole barrel vent, what say people.

By the way, for any of our Aussie members, there may be some of theses parts available for local builders after I finish my own one.

Cheers

Tony
