The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

ok, so after having the screen accurate bdu's from MAA for a while now, i'm now looking at getting a new set but in entirly new pattern. as most of the uscm is based on the gear used in vietnam i was thinking maybe tiger stripe? or maybe even the digital style for a more modern look? But i dont have the greatest knowledge of whats available out there so thoughts, ideas, opinions etc please marines :)

I just got a set of black BDUs for Airsoft and thought that if used with some black armour could be really quite cool.

Special forces marine stylee ;)

You know what might look pretty darn kewel?

Crye Multicam

It's a very cool pattern. Available online, ebay, etc.

It may be the camo used by the Halo 3 Marines in the live video...and it's the camo used by the Ghosts in
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfare.

Well... TE used DPM colours to paint the armour. Why not DPM's?
Certainly cheap enough in UK..:)
Or desert?

Have a look here, for camo of the world. 8)
http://henrikc.dk/camouflage/index.asp
Bet you won't be able to get hold of most though. :?

I haven't got any screen accurate bdu's and moneywise probably won't for a little while (MAA has never got back to me anyway!!!)

I have got 2 sets of British desert dpm's. I'm making stencils based on the screen ones to add a third black/grey colour to them.

I've also got German desert tropentarn bdu's too, which I think look pretty cool. 8)
I'm still debating whether to paint my armour (when it arrives from spat) in the German Flecktarn to go with it, as I have some flecktarn webbing and helmet cover.

PS meant to say I think the similar Chinese 'Tibetan' flecktarn camo looks 8)

I'm using multicam for mine- although I do have a converted set of urban that I may dye one day. I also really like DPM. I only have a jacket in that though.

Here's another favorite, that I've never been able to get a hold of- French Lizard

Wow, I really like the look of the Crye Multicam... I may have to consider this, as I'm really not wanting to shell out like $150 for MAA's stuff.

I'm not that into being totally canon to care enough. ;)
