The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I just emailed him this weekend.

While he didn't say for sure that he was coming, the impression I got was leaning toward him showing up!

Mind you, he was being a bit cryptic- so it could go either way.

I for one will be overjoyed to see him there!

If you read this Amigo- please come to D-Con!

Well, he still has his business with 1/6 scale miniatures & he stills sells welders, belt tool single barrel adapters & locater tubes so I feel there is a chance he'll show up. I AM keeping my fingers crossed. Oh, as I was search back into the old posts, I found this one so figured now was a good time to bring it back to the top. Chris, if your reading this, we''ll all love to see you at Dcon.

Mike

Back by popular demand; FNG USCM is in the house.

It was great and heartwarming to see all the vets again, and wonderful to make friends with the FNGs.

Never got hugged or hugged back so much in one day. TKS for the warm welcome.

Talk about STRAC! When is the next sweep? Playing USCM this year was over the top. No exaggeration, I felt like a kid, among kids again... playing on the block. It was really exhilarating.

Michelle/Vaz... you, especially, IMHO, ROCKED the house. I want to be on your squad!

Strange, perhaps, but true ... I explained to Sherry, my better half, that the strong sense of esprit de corps that exists in our group has far surpassed anything I ever experienced in the military, and we were a tight, proud and elite group back then. That says a lot about this group. Words fail.

IMHO this was absolutely the BEST Con for the “Colonial Marines.” Things change so I hesitate to keep saying USCMs.

Our Canadian brothers get the prize for enthusiasm, I’d say, too.

Now all you newbies get your stuff together and ready for the next drop.

See you on the ready line!

VBR,
Chris

Chris, it was an absolute pleasure to talk Colonial Marines with you at D*C, as well as hearing you talk about your wonderful work on your 1/6 scale M577 APC. There I was, a total stranger, and you chatted with me like you had known me for years.

You know what they say about first impressions being lasting ones. My first personal dealings with any of the Colonial Marines community was as good as I have ever had, and I will always appreciate that. You're truly a great ambassador and you have inspired me to go full throttle with my own costume. Kudos, sir, and welcome back.

Are you sure that is Chris? I mean, all I saw at Dcon 07 was this mystery Marine.
