The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

A couple of years ago I made a couple of M40 grenades in my lathe, and cast them out of resin in a silicon form. I was really habe with the results. But i want them to be funcional. Not to explode, but just be able to put the plunger.

Cut the old resin plunger. You should measure the diameter to use it later. it was 8,2mm in my grenades.

Drill the grenade completely with a diameter of 5 mm, just that the new pluger comes through.

Drill with the diameter of the original plunger only 55mm deep from the bottom.

Remember the original plunger? Serves as a plug for the hole system.

Nice! Do you have a photo of the original metal piece? Are you trying to sell these?

Hallo Seven, the original metal piece can be seen in the second picture.
This is a tutorial only. Currently I'm not planning to sell them, but I can reconsidered it.
