What is the shroud? is that cast pewter too??

I think the shroud is printed, but coated in "zinc galvanising silver coat"

I've been tracking Sean's work over on the RPF for a while now. Not only did he kindly share his files but every time he posts i'm astonished with the finish he is getting on the prints. Very inspiring.

These images are on Facebook posted by a 'John Johnson' from New York. Is that the same person as Sean?

Unfortunately Facebook has swiftly killed Sean's M41A Pulse Rifle Kit pages (selling replica firearms) and handed his account a ban or two for the trouble as well. "John Johnson" is Sean's alternate account

I think I downloaded these files at one point from Seans RPF post a while back. I can't seem to find the file on my computer.
Does anyone know the file name that I would search for?

I've followed the RPF thread. But I would love to see a pic of the paints and products that you used.and your airbrush n tools. This thing does NOT look like filament, it looks like heavy metal. If I build one I wanna focus on getting a finish like that. It looks better then some of the mass produced pulse rifles. 3D modeling and printing changed the game here recently, especially martinr1000, smartazzgunner and some other guys, but this raises the bar for what can be done with a final finish.

I’ll sort some pics and information and get Melissa to post it for me fella.

Talking about FB bans, I've just been given ANOTHER FB ban, only 24 hours this time, for posting a self deprecating joke, which the FB bots mistook for "bullying".

I'm just so sick of the way they are trying to dictate what people can and can't say, if a viable alternative came along I'd jump ship in an instant.

Anyway, apologies for the digression and nice work on the rifle. Looking forward to receiving mine when it's finished printing.

Does Sean have a price list for parts ? Has anyone purchased any ?

When he was doing them in PLA they were a really good price ~£120. He also had a waiting list of 12+ months
