 Post subject: Interest : I'm renting ALAMO drafthouse and screening ALIENS

I'm planning to rent a theater inside "Alamo Drafthouse/Video Vortex" in Raleigh N.C. and playing ALIENS.

it would be blu ray, unfortunately no 35mm

I dont have a date and I am still talking with the theater.
They aren't even open yet.

The place is epic, vhs rentals, food, about a hundred kinds of beer.
I may do two films and make it Aliens and a horror movie and encourage armor and costumes.
Anybodies welcome, just gonna bring a bunch of friends and rage.

I was looking at doing something similar at a local cinema here but the costs necessitate about 20 people to make things break even if everyone chips in 15 dollars a ticket and buy 5 dollars in concessions.

Just an update. This is gonna be easy to do, but it looks like itll be quite a while until covid calms down. I suspect Alamo may be forced to close this location.

Talk with them. They may still be doing private viewings and it may be the last photos you get of the place while it is still operational...
