The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I noticed the TM SPAS 12s came back in stock on Evike a bit ago. Has anyone had experience with these? Looks interesting and I may pick one up. I only wish it was metal so the cage could be used on a Hero pulse build! It looks like a pretty close replica, albeit in ABS.

The main review I remember from the past is that the plastic cage is too thick for a shotgun to fit. Probably a perfectly good airsoft weapon, but not useful for advance pulse builds. Could be nice for a light-weight build with no internals.

I have one, it's a decent shotgun but if you want a tri-shot for skirmishing the CYMA 870s are a better deal.

I have a spare plastic cage from a Marui SPAS, and I'm planning on using it for a build. The plastic is thicker than the other Airsoft cages but also more durable. I'll see how it goes.

If you google "marui spas comparison" ... the first link is to a site (I've never been to or heard of), that has a nice write up comparing the TM to a real Franchi.
