The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Mike what a fantastic journey through the studio you've taken us on, thank you SO much for sharing that. I know how long it takes and how much work goes into something like this and it's truly appreciated.

You know I have a ton of other blueprints from Aliens, if you fancy a crack at any of them just let me know! ;)

Very nice. So, shall we continue and build the whole hangar while on it?

If we built one, I'd live there all of the time. Great stuff!

I would travel to Logan Utah to visit.

No, I didn't say that I would build it, though I am building a full blown set in my garage at some point for a sci-fi rec room. It won't be a direct tribute to any one sci-fi, just a 'common room' aboard a large, industrial vessel.

Sorry for necroing this thread, but any chance of reposting the original images?

Thanks!

Yes. Mike's ISP folded so the images were lost. I was with the same provider (Demon Internet) who are sadly no more. We now encourage folks to attach their files to posts so that they stay on the same server as the forum, rather than just be linked to the poster's webspace.

Also I looked through my files and I couldn't find the images. I'll ask Mike if he still has them.

Harry

I suggest Imgur. I don't think they are going anywhere. They are insanely popular and I don't see any cons to using them for image hosting.

No one thought myspace would go away.

No one thought AOL Instant messenger would go away.

ALWAYS, save a copy of your photos. ALWAYS have a hard drive backup of your stuff...

Well yeah. That's just a given that you'll have copies of your photos stored on your computer or phone. I was more speaking in reference to hosting so others can see them.

Stefan thank you so much!

I’ll edit Mikes first post and add these images back as attachments. Before I do, does anyone know if there's a maximum number of attached images allowed per-post? There are 18 images in total and (because they were links and not attachments) Mike put them all in one post.

Harry
