The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I'll be there, but have signed up direct with Reel Icons.

Are places limited to 2 again, or is there room for a others?

Thanks to the Garrison for inviting the UKCM along again.

For anyone who fancies getting into armour/bug suits and just hanging about in the bar for an afternoon, then myself, G, Bruce, Kai and Mandy will be heading up for the Saturday and Sunday and paying our own way.
We have a hotel room booked the Holiday Inn on site.

It'll be good to see you!

We'll be arriving Saturday morning and all meeting up somewhere inside the event. I think we have 2 Holiday inn rooms booked now, so probably just hanging around there for Saturday night

TIMES:

Sat: Arrive for 07:30 out for early bird queue at 08:30. Finish at 18:00.

Sun: Arrive for 08:30 out for early bird queue at 09:00. Finish at 17:00.

Please keep to the above times.

We really do need to be out at the times stated, to work the Early Bird queues. With regards to finishing times, it has been noticed that a lot of people tend to de-kit early, especially on the Sunday. We are scheduled to attend for the entire duration of the event. I know many people have very long journeys to make, but we need to remain professional and honour our agreements.

If you are going to be late or are unable to attend please text me on 07824 630469. It is important we have an accurate record of who is in attendance should an emergency situation arise.

ENTRY:

Everyone on the signup will be allocated an MCM pass (wristband) to gain entry to the event. You do not need to buy a ticket. This is one pass for the entire weekend. If you lose it cannot be re-issued and you will have to pay for subsequent days. They will need to be collected individually when you arrive. You cannot collect for someone else. Helena and Debbie will be in the Check-In area to hand these out.

You will collect your pass at checkin at the beginning of the event. If you are attending both days you do not need to hand your pass in on the Saturday, however, you must checkin again on the Sunday morning so we know who is in attendance each day.

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation in this matter.

I've got your number Rich so give me a call when you've arrived. We should be with the Preds for a photo shoot by the big NEC sign outside the main entrance at about half 10.

Quick heads up guys

There's a large Predator gathering taking place near the main entrance around 1030, might be an idea to hang around that area. As there might also be some Xenos about. In any case, great photo op for people in the AVP universe.

ALSO, I've been contacted by a lady whose young sons (one of which is Autistic) are coming as Colonial Marines and is asking for photos. I said my group will keep an eye out. So if the other group, or any Aliens costumers reading this, get approached for pics be sure to do your best to make their day.

Now, for Andy and anyone else coming as official costumers, and just to add to what Kris has said.

The event is in Halls 10-11-12. Our changing area is in Hall 11. Please use the main entrance to come in. The checkin desk will be on the main concourse outside the Hall.

Use Car Parks N2-N4. PLEASE NOTE there is some question as to wether we will be given parking passes for this event. So be prepared to shell out if not.

Sat: Arrive for 07:30 out for early bird queue at 08:30. Finish at 18:00.

Sun: Arrive for 08:30 out for early bird queue at 09:00. Finish at 17:00.

A map is attached.

We found them and had some photos taken at the pro photo booth, so mission accomplished.

We had a great time at this show! Marines seemed to have gone a bit stale lately, but we got absolutely mobbed at this show!
It took over an hour to get halfway down the hall from all the photos being taken :)

Looking forward to getting the squad back together and getting to some more shows now
