The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Not sure if someone has mentioned these recently but found this at Target yesterday looking for the NECA Ultimate Edition xeno.

Pretty cool. Glows in the dark. Egg does also. Comes with a checklist/bio card too.

Hmmm, that's new. Semi action figure in the super deformed style.

They're neat, but pricey. $12.99, I think.

Back when I was in high school, circa 1990/1991, I mail-ordered a Halcyon Alien Warrior kit that took almost 4 months to arrive. That, some Japanese kits, and some small gaming pieces were all I remember.

Now we can walk into Target and find Aliens and Predator toys/collectibles. Not complaining one bit.

The Halcyon kits were outstanding - Their moulds/ designs were also used to create Aoshima's die-cast range, and I forget who, but another Japanese company released ready-made statues of the Alien Queen etc, also using Halcyon resources.

They show up on eBay every now and then and I'd consider getting the Drop Ship and APC. But they're pricey. I wanted those sooooo bad also back in the day.

You know, I have never really been a huge fan of "cute" interpretations of toys/figures. Mostly I find them off-putting....mostly.

But I'm all in on these things!

Was pretty determined to ignore them, but when I stumbled on these guys in walmart, I had to scoop them up.

The Vaz was one of the more rare black box figures (surprises), but someone else opened it in the store I guess (perhaps looking for Newt?) then put it back. So I knew Vaz was in there. Grabbed her and Hudson. Pretty nifty figures.

Can't help but feel like if I got the "gray camo" hudson and mixed and matches parts I would get a more overall accurate figure. Might be a little project going forward if I find one.

You found those at Wal-Mart?

I better check if mine has them . . . I want the Hudson one so bad. Wish they did a Drake. They're so stinkin' cute, I love 'em.

Wal-Mart now seems to be keeping the 'grown-up' style toys in the electronics section, just an fyi

Target does the same thing. My favorite spot to wander around.

Those are the ones from Titan I think. That is their style. They make several from different franchises. I have the Alien set and a couple Fourth Doctors.

Thanks!

There have been so many of these deformed "chibi" style figures for Aliens I can't even recount them all.

Went to Wal-Mart.

Couldn't find Vinyls.

I'll check Target and the other Wal-Mart close to me soon.
