The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Nick Bedwell has retired from the trade.

He has gained full time employment elsewhere.

He was among one of the best Aliens and Ghost Buster prop builders on the market.

Im bummed about it too, but if hes leaving for a better gig then maybe he'll end up getting back into building props and be even more passionate about it since it'll be a side gig. In the meantime I hope more people will step up and try their hand at making props for the community. It would be great if everyone had something they could build and sell/trade.

He pretty much said he would only build for himself. He is making suit cases now...

the 3-d printed stuff is starting to come out on this stuff. There are about 3 individuals that have made their own 3-d motion tracker and assembled one.

I second this! To build your own, you're looking at a minimum of $700 in parts alone IF you get lucky and hit the low end of each item. These completed trackers currently listed in the PX are an amazing deal
