The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Thanks Catling. Yeah I seem to have really taken to 1/12 But with the clothed aspect than painting Plastic LOL
It's the best of both worlds too in as much as Similar detail to 1/6th but fraction of the space taken up.

Plus I already know IF ever am Lucky enough a DROPSHIP 1/12 will be 6ft long (as they did one for the Film), plus Hanger bay was built 1/12 for the film too.

On that I have commissioned PURGEWORXS Prop Builders with building me the Body shellof an APC. I will do the Interior. Will have working doors too. Asked for it to be 1/10th scale to give me a little more room to hopefully fudge everything Inside lol

@Bob, Yeah we do appear to have it pretty much covered :D

I do Indeed but want the Smartgun rig from Her.
Plus I will be making my own Vasquez soon enough with cloth uniform using the NECA one as base.

On a Plus, these just came in today :D Impressed considering the scale and size.

Better than NECA for the camo and even though so small holds well when compared to 1/6 scale HOT TOYS & EVA BDUs too

Open it. More fun to be had with them in hand than looking at a box, may as well just use a picture LOL

I Wish I could claim Credit on these ones Bob But no, Got these from Spain. A Madelman customiser/seller (Madelman are 1/11th scale mini Action Man/GI JOEs with clothing and great sets out there) had three sets, so OFC I bought them LOL

Hoping he plans to make some more in the New Year as I would like some more.

I can do trousers and jackets but not as sharp as this guy. Plus need get some 1/12 scaled Camo Pattern first to print off my own.

Frost just returned from R&R with some Acturians.
Getting some Range time but ended up watching a FORCE RECON Marine getting some range time.
Frost is thinking of putting in for FORCE RECON but first some Dipshit mission to some shithole called "LV-426"

Brilliant setup, and I love the urban tiger stripe camo! Are those the Tomytec little armory models by any chance? I've really been looking into those, but I'm not quite sure if they would be to scale with the Neca figures...

Thanks Blake. Really appreciate the kind words. Had to come up with a camo that met the Uniform. Think it worked quite well. Just doing a second set of Armour same camo as I have a second set of the uniform now lol

Yes indeed they are the TomyTech Shooting Range pieces. I had 3 on PO since Oct LOL If you look you can see FROST is in the other unit next to my custom firing his M41a. So Yeah NECA Fit. Though if you need more photos to convince you LMK.

I wondered if they would go with Kenner Apone but since they didn't have regular Apone I quit wondering! Lol.

What are everyone's thoughts on the likeness? I'm thinking they don't have the rights from Al Matthews as it's not very close.

That Apone is... yeah. Never mind, I'm not a Kenner fan so I'll just shut up.

Now that AvP Broken Tusk is a thing of beauty. Nice to see Chris Warner and Phil Norwood's designs brought to life. The Machiko is good too, but I'd rather have the clothed version from the original series.

Why is the xeno that's included with the Burke Carter figure not screen accurate? This is only forcing me, that much more, to adopt the smooth covered head = younger day old xeno theory.

It is being billed as a "concept" figure, like the albino alien and the translucent Big Chap. Cameron did at one point want smooth domes, so there you go.

Just my opinion, but if that's the case, they should've packaged this particular xeno individually and provided Burke with the more screen accurate version like Hicks and Hudson, or packaged him solo. Now I shall go with the youngster theory in my display.

Btw, I have no idea why these photos were posted upside down. I wish I could fix them. :|
