The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

My review:

I have!

If you're looking for a shoe that you can wear out, don't get these. They are purely cosmetic/costume only. They're meant to vaguely look like Alien Stompers.

If you want a super accurate pair, don't get these. There's a few niggles like the grey straps aren't the kind that go through a loop and fold back over itself like the real deal does. The soles don't match, and there's no logos. They're made with vinyl/fake leather. The red pinstripe on the bottom of the foot is just a thin strip of red vinyl glued in place.

If you want a pair of shoes that are for "light wear" to bring together your Ripley costume, or just for display, GET THESE!

They offer custom size at no additional cost, free shipping, FAST production and delivery from China, and the customer service is fantastic.

I initially was leery at first too but when I saw that they accepted Paypal I knew if something went down I could probably have it resolved. Transaction was just fine.

This type of shoe is literally perfect for me, personally because it's lightweight, they're custom made to fit me with my Youth size 2 feet! And because I don't walk I can literally wear these bad b****es everywhere :delta:

(Pictured is only one because I was wearing the other while laughing maniacally)

Let us just say I have access to full fabrication facilities. If I can see what they did, as it fails, I can piece things back together and actually get templates to make my own...

Before anyone sends money to shitty Chinese knock-off shoe companies, allow me to share a story that happened to me. Some time ago, I purchased a pair of Fred Perry shoes from (what I thought was) a Spanish website. I received a package from a Chinese vendor. What was inside was a pair of knock-off Nike shoes that literally smelled of gasoline. I contacted my bank to advise them of the fraud, and the gave me a contact email address to send my complaint to the RCMP to begin an investigation to get a refund. Here's an excerpt of what the RCMP detective sent to me:

Quote:
We don’t recommend you keep the product as it could be made with chemicals and material harmful to your health

So, yeah. Don't buy shitty Chinese shoes. They smell like gasoline (petrol for you Brits), and they're more than likely to give you a terrible fucking rash, or worse.
