The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Saw this on another board. I *think* this is made by the same company that makes the HALO and COD mini figures. It sounded like it wasn't a full line of ALIENS related figures, but a line of multiple characters from various films and/or games. So what we see might be all that we get.

Thanks for the heads-up: those are awesome!

I literally just got home from WalMart. I almost stopped in the toy aisle, but thought to myself "Nah, I've seen every toy this store carries."

I'm grabbing my keys, headed out to WalMart again, it seems. :)

I wouldn't expect them to be in stores just yet...maybe in another two or three months.

It would be pretty kick-ass if these two turn out to be super popular with consumers and we get a wider line of JUST Aliens stuff...including an APC or dropship.

Not enough research, that's what.

And it looks like I may have spoken too soon. A guy on Facebook just posted images of the Alien figure and made it sound like he just found them at WalMart.

A picture of the figure in package. I checked my local Wal-Mart and Target and found nothing. They may not have worked their way to my area yet.

you know i'm usually a sucker for just about any products that produce marines, but I'm not really feeling these yet. Maybe seeing the marine will change my mind, but regarding the 'little-cute-toy' niche stylings, the mini-mates line has pretty much scratched the itch already for me.

Generally speaking, I can't stand the sight of those things.

As a fun little "Colonial Marine on the dashboard" this might be okay, but I'm not sold on the goofy proportions and inaccuracies. Reminds me of those ImagineNext toys that are popular right now.

I wonder why they didn't just make an entire line of ALIENS stuff, it would seem to be right up their alley.

Hopefully there will be a line of Aliens Mega Construx. *Crosses fingers* Picked mine up at WalMart; now they're guarding my PC at work:

Regarding mini figures with goofy proportions...I felt kinda the same way about those Minimates. I wanted to like them, but just couldn't pull the trigger...even though they had a freaking APC they could fit in!

But these speak to me for some reason. Maybe because my oldest son has some of the COD figures and vehicles which are made by the same company (for those not in the know).

I have to go to Wal-Mart again today, guess I'll be checking for them again. I do have to say though, that the clip-on hands for the xeno look a little janky. Leaving them off might be a better option.

Sigh, I grabbed a set today. They were there, I was there...

Smaller than I expected! Much closer to Lego scale.

Yeah, I found them too. Picked up two xeno's and one Marine. If I like them enough, I'll buy more. If I don't, I'll just hand them over to my oldest son.

My Walmart has a small section of "building toys that aren't Legos" at the end of the Lego aisle. That's where these were.

The xeno's hands pop off at the wrist and the claw pieces can be attached at the stump. Not perfect, but it looks better than double hands.

Also to note they are not in an Aliens display. It is one that includes He-Man and Star Trek TNG. I almost over looked them at first and had to dig thru the display to find them.

Thanks!

I'm not sure why He-Man was part of that line-up. Maybe because of the ReAction figures?
